A few months ago we received a call from a woman who works for various police departments and agencies with her chocolate
lab Harley (named after Harley Davidson's) Harley is a hard working Cadaver Dog. These dogs are trained for cases where
a deceased body is more likely to be the outcome of a search. Not a pretty thought, but their job is vital to both families
of the victims, and to a justice system that often times needs a body to prove a crime. These dogs
work on and off leashes and are trained to detect the scent of decomposition that rises from the soil, same principle
of a dog knows where he last buried his bone. It isn't just crime investigations that cadaver dogs are used, there used
in conjunction with canine search and rescue teams to locate both victims and survivors of disasters. Thank you to
Mrs.Elaine Shaver for working so hard and for choosing Silver Truffles as her new partner.

Im very proud to say that she has first pick of the males and one of Silver Truffles Boys will be her next cadaver dog. His
name is going to be Hutch. And here he is on puppy pickup with his new mommy Elaine.
